Professor Ali Khaki-Sedigh


He is currently a professor of control systems with the Department of Electrical Engineering, K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. He obtained an honors degree in mathematics in 1983, a master’s degree in control systems in 1985, and a Ph.D. in control systems in 1988, all in the UK. He is the author and coauthor of about 90 journal papers, and 170 international conference papers and has published 14 books in the area of control systems. His main research interests are adaptive and robust multivariable control systems, complex systems and chaos control, research ethics, and the history of control.

Ali Rezaei

Master’s Student

He is pursuing a master’s degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in control systems. He simultaneously completed bachelor’s degrees in electrical and mechanical engineering at BNUT. His research interests are Control Theory, Data-driven Control, Multivariable Control Systems, Adaptive Control, and Predictive Control.

Fatemeh Yazdani

Ph.D. Student

She received her Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering and Master’s degree in control engineering from the University of Isfahan in 2015 and 2018, respectively. She has been a PhD student in control engineering at K.N. Toosi University of Technology since 2020. Her research interests include data-driven control, predictive control, deep learning, and machine learning.

Sepideh Nasrollahi

Ph.D. Student

She received her bachelor’s degree in control engineering from Shiraz University in 2018 and her master’s degree in control engineering from K. N. Toosi University in 2021. She is currently a Ph.D. student in control engineering and a member of the Advanced Control Systems Lab (ACSL) at K. N. Toosi University of Technology. Her research interests are data-driven control, adaptive control, and multivariable control.

Majid Alekasir

Master’s Student

I am an electrical control engineer with a master’s degree, specializing in data-driven control. My passion lies in developing innovative solutions at the intersection of image processing and artificial intelligence. I have extensive experience in correlation-based tuning control, a data-driven approach that I explored in my master’s thesis.

Nazanin Bondarian

Nazanin received her B.Sc. in electrical engineering – electronics from Dr. Shariati Vocational and Technical Girls University, Tehran, Iran. Her project was to design a program for face detection and face recognition in MATLAB and PYTHON. She received her M.Sc. degree in mechatronics engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology. Her project was to design a controller for respiration rate during postoperative patient-controlled analgesia. She is currently a Ph.D. student in control engineering and a member of the Advanced Control Systems Lab (ACSL) at K. N. Toosi University of Technology.

Mehdi Naderi

Mehdi Naderi received the M.Sc. degree from the University of Tehran, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree from the K.N. Toosi University of Technology in 2019, in Electrical Engineering (Control). Since May 2021, he has been a post-doc associate at the Technical University of Crete, Chania, Greece.
